the worst, by definition

"death" should be a four letter word
it is the most awful, horrid of them all
everyone tells you there is no more pain
but how do they know this?
maybe it hurts a lot
but the thing is
no one
ever gets to come back to tell you
preachers warn of the fires of Hell
and the glorious riches of Heaven
I just wish someone would come back
and tell me the truth of these places
the angels and demons
God or Satan
is it all just made up?
death is the only thing that scares me
in this life
I've come much too close to death
many times
and I must say it's not fair
they all looked so peaceful
just lying there tucked
in between satiny pillows
hands folded across their chest
but they aren't coming back to me
I want to know
will I ever see them again?
I held my sweet pet of fourteen years
watched as they slipped the needle in
saw the life literally leave his eyes
felt him grow stiff in my embrace
and it wasn't nice
or beautiful
it was frustrating because I couldn't help him
"death" is by far the worst
word in the entire dictionary
and I think that goes for all languages
I personally don't want to
ever see that definition again

Death is merely a way for our imperfect flesh to be replaced with a spiritual soul that will last for eternity with no sickness or pain ever again. We pass from this life of horrid attributes onto paradise to reside with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Heaven and hell are very real in my opinion and await our choice of which place we'd rather be. Satan does everything in his power to see us in hell... think about it and the way of the world and it truly makes sense.

    Blessings,

It is a valid fear, a very common one. And yes, it IS sad. No one want's to die, but I for one don't fear death. maybe the means of my death, but not death itself.
