Sun's long set; the wind mellow
A tinge of confused orange masked in bashful pink
One lonely raven crows
Life that was, has gone to bed
Time is steady, all motion still
The giant wheel has stopped a while
Deep, calm, a stillness fills
The urn once up, turns upside down
Black, ah, black, sweet sleepy hollow
One coy star, peeps over the edge
A peace unknown will silently follow
Lights off, life sleeps on empty stage.

There's a lot of places you can go with this poem, as it stands, it is well written with imagery that paints the long sleep. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.
