sandblast these prickly walls
make them smooth enough to feel
annihilate this insulation
and get down to where I'm real
exfoliate the jagged edges
'til you penetrate my inner core
chisel at the stony surfaces
I don't want them anymore

Beautiful metaphoric penning! This really screams of someone beckoning the right person to come along and tear down the walls, get beneath the surface and see who they truly are. Love the penning, beautiful work
