The Great Escape

I need a vacation, a holiday.
I just need a chance to get away.
One day I'll make my great escape,
I hope freedom isn't one of those things people overrate.

There's so much of the world I haven't seen
There are too many things that shouldn't be dreams.
Give me one day to get of this town
And I promise when I come back I'll stick around.

The walls are getting too close
And I swear to God I'm trying to keep my hope.

My mind's a little clearer than before;
I'm a little scared of all the new roads.
