A first encounter
stimulate radiant
blushes
that move my
fluttering heart
into overdrive
As pink accents
adorn her plushy
lips
plump with flavors
of intimate flush
kisses
dipped in a sweet
chiffon elixir
of love

Darrell,
I really liked your description of romance, from the very first meeting through love. I have always liked “chiffon”, because it always implied “feminine” to me, and I think that it gave a nice soft touch to this poem.
Thank you so much for writing this poem, and for entering it into this contest, and for letting me get a peek of what “pink” means to you.
