20 year olds practicing highschool deviance.

I saw the world through rose tinted glasses.
Midnights and shots of whiskey,
The smoke curling higher into the ceiling fans
I missed out on so much
But gained so many better experiences
You say I'm unmotivated
I say I'm just enjoying the scenery,
Tomorrows going to come whether I want it to or not
Why not enjoy today before its sucked
Into yesterday
Sitting in silent awe
Of music playing through the speakers
Midnights and shots of spiced rum
Cocktails and beautiful spiraling smoke
We were bad ass teenagers
We ruled our own reality
Our deviance began in college
Our deviance began when most others where dying down
Smoking at the P's house
We have memories to spare
Midnights and conversations about what we were going to do
To change our lives and the world
And we can do it
If we really wanted to
But I think right now we are fine
With midnights
And glasses of deep red wine
Commiserating about the year.
