Sky’s eye running from us to night
There hushes the soft haunting tune
Our ears drink deep from the hale wine
Of faeries singing to raise the moon
So dies the sun upon some place
Some nameless land far and away
Where there is no moon and no night
You vanish with the death of day
The touch of your hand in mine stays
Your palm missed by fortunate line
Searching all alone in the woods
Hollow calls crawl through oak and pine
