Freedom of Choice

While 'tis true,

man is responsible
for evil acts upon this earth,

man also has within himself
the means by which to do good.

Neither God,
nor Satan, himself,
    controls our free will --

        ...for we have the freedom
            to chose.

God gave us free will for a reason. And within that, evil is born. I really love that quote by anne frank. Such a short write, but i really loved it. i know you think that we're just being silly,
that love is worth the chance it takes to try,
we know it too, yet somehow we're reminded
that falling is the only way we fly.

Very true, but I wonder why so many choose to do evil when good is right there next to it? Your poem puts us squarely to blame for our actions, where it belongs.. Wonderfully done..

that is true... free will is just that, and decisions we make are ours. i always try to look for the good in people, no matter their decisions, usually getting the most upset with my own. thank you for your entry.
