Mackenzie

I lived in a town in the north of Alberta.
The winters were freezing cold,
And the summers were burning hot.
But it was the place where I slept,
And I would do anything to gain back the sight,
Of seeing so far across the fields,
Of seeing so far into my self.

Please tell me what you think

    wow.
    I know the feeling.
This is an amazing write and i'm so going to bookmark it......

The last line is the best, I think, a lot of poetry just sort of ends with the last line, but yours leaves me thinking and sums it up at the same time. This is truely amazing.
I can really relate to missing 'the place where I slept'.
    Again, amazing write.
    Lots of love,
