Colorful splashes of orange, yellow and red
All around on the earth many are dead
I sit and watch as each leaf falls free
as with each big gust thy let go of there tree
Then as if by magic each takes a dancing flight
some blow so high my eyes lose them from sight
Then gently they flow back to the ground
To rest once more without a sound
Yes autumn is upon us and winters so near
and for this young man it's my favorite time of year.

ahhh I like this one... autumn is a very pretty time of year around here.... cooler than the summer pretty because of the colors and the ending of our life cycles around here. I like this write as it brings to me some pleasant memories. Thanks for sharing this with us.
