What is the purpose of a riot for peace?
A scream in crowd?
a lock with no keys?
I give you a flower
you give me naught but pain
so deep and cut throat
Still i look on you with everything but disdain
So twisted is the human mind
so imperfectly humane
constantly we are blind
wishing to going insane
in a world filled with evil plans
bloodied fields, bullet riddled men
its amazing that our race even stands
what happens when life on earth ends?
vast differences between love and war
never ending question of
"what are we fighting for"
we are better off living in folk lore
Ah this world is a crazy place
but are our minds more sane?
where should we go to hide
to keep from our pains?

This poem shows that you are really thinking and questioning.
Perhaps we are hiding from what really hurts deep inside and blaming the outside world.

I really like this poem. The first stanza is my absolute favorite. I feel like you lost a little potential towards the end but I still favor this poem a lot. Very well written! I'm glad you decided to enter it!
