The repetition in the beginning really brings out the importance of the poem, builds up the strength that it carries. At the same time as it is strong, it is also very sensitive. I can feel this poem, and the sadness that hides in it, showing trough words like "sacrifice" and "only has one life". It shows that love is not just happy and romantic, it is sad too. It is very well written, and a lot of emotion can be found in it. I also like that it's a bird, which I think adds to the piece, metaphoricly, through birds abilities to fly and escape things etc. While here it is so clear that the bird wants to stay and just give all it's love.
