Saying what I want to hear all the while.
Whispers of lies and visions of love and devotion masked my ignorance and trust.
Telling me you will think of me always, dream of my sweet song and tender kisses.
I will believe you for this moment because saying goodbye has never been so difficult.
The end of our bittersweet goodbyes is present.
Distance is what keeps me believing in you because if you were here with your vicious whispers, soft whimpers of desire and lust;
I would be a fool and not only fall but stay and die in love with you.
Your words are poison, and no longer will I keep myself from seeing it.
I will see it and embrace it as if the lies were my own because after all love is love.

Simply stunning. Don't touch this poem it is perfect! It flows really well and your words gave me some serious chills. I love your line

The line about words being poison take me back to a time I was hurt by someone I loved and they really struck a chord with me. Wonderful work : )
