How much is too much for GOD to ask?

let's put this into prospective

as it should be

would you do for HIM

what HE'S done for you and me

would you do all the things HE'S done for us in the past

without anything in return being asked

would you move a mountain

would you part a sea

would you sacrifice your only son for other's or me
would you loan all you own to the world for it's use

even if the usage is abused

would you openly give away love unless refused

would you continue to love me

when your love I deny

could you still love me when my useful years have passed me by 

with all THE FATHER has done
there is nothing HE could ask us to do that is too much under the sun!

    Good win! Hope you place higher next time I really like this piece - there's a lot of food for thought here; I'll have to pass this piece around, esp. to the Christian groups I'm in. Wonderful poem - best of luck in the contest!

    Its so very sad that the one thing that would heal this world and it doesnt cost a dime is love . Why do people work so hard at being evil when they could love one another so easily .I cry for every day I see greed out in our world I see young people being eaten alive through drugs and I see children being aborted and laws that makes it legal . Oh my heart breaks for this world has become blind
