My Character Flaw

Missing image
I cannot tell a lie I love clothes
I like them new, fashionable or vintage old
I like them sedate and sometimes brazen and bold
The colors of the rainbow brilliant or subdued
I like them even more when they match my shoes
Don’t forget the hats and pocketbook too
If I couldn’t shop don’t know what I’d do

When my money is funny I just window shop
Pick out what I want come back when I’m hot
Oh thank you Lord for inventing on-line shopping
Stay at home on my computer no more store hopping
I like bargains and clearance sales
haute couture as well and jewelry at Zales
Now if only they would come to my house for my nails

You might think I live a high maintenance type of life
If you know where to go you can manage and make things right
Craigslist, Ebay, I’ve been there a time or two
Though I must confess I’d rather have things that are brand new
Know matter how I tried to resist purchasing everything I saw
I always gave in because I’m cursed with a shopping character flaw

I, too, suffer from this malady. I prefer to call it a
    'gift" LOL

I can smell a bargain a mile away!
