Small ship
glides on sky-blue tide
toward known destiny.
Souls meet midway,
where dolphin sings its song
of longing;
where aquamarine
colors yearning.
Where memories
blot the cornflowers
of his eyes;
brush
the canopy
of love's heavenly harbor.
Author notes
Forever sea and sky bring memories of eyes.

Diction – 9/10 (short lines, simple language, brilliant images – I loved it)

The coast I live near never looks like this! The beauty of your words transcends the ocean that separates us. Good luck in the contest.

sublime blueness
This is beautiful, so many shades blooming in my mind's eye. The question of where is the "known destiny" is answered by the end. Lovely.
May I adorn my computer with your photograph?
