[ Don't tell me your love story ]

Don't tell me your love story
I'll only hear the heartache and regret
That hides behind the words
And takes you before the last unsaid words
Don't wanna hear another love song
Nicely sugared and sweet
Covering the nasty illusion called love
Making it so sickly sweet I wanna puke
Don't wanna hear another "I love you"
Tossed around like drinking water
A lie that is beginning to lose all meaning
Becoming the same as a simple "good-bye"
Love is nothing but a fairytale
For the dreams of the young and hopeful
But not for me
Possibly, once upon a time
Love lived, not very strong I presume
To have died to absolutely

Such heartache and anger in these words.
The end of a relationship is always such a hard thing, but love never fails to the heart that continues on.
    Marvelous job with this write!
