Clothed in a long, flowing, deep blue cloak,
I slowly stride towards my magnificent vessel,
Nasce da Stelle del Ceillio Notturno,
Sitting there silently
In the gently undulating waters
Of the Caribbean.
I hoist the anchors high away,
They won’t be needed for tonight’s journey.
I unravel the large lifeless sails
And position myself behind the helm,
And gaze up at the night sky,
Longing for the stars,
Longing for her heart.
The wind picks up,
I steer us out of port
Towards starboard,
Whence you made us part
Sending me out on my own,
Knowing nothing of this world of yours.
The ocean reflects the
Deep sapphire sky,
I close my eyes,
The diamond stars lift
Out of the serene waters.
The sky and ocean begins to merge,
Nasce da Stelle del Ceillio Notturno
Now sails among the stars,
Far above the monotonous clouds below.
I open my eyes,
And stare in awe at the vistas
Laid out before my eyes.
Countless constellations litter the space
Around the vessel….
But my eyes fixate on one…
It’s stars all align,
All it’s pink-purple particles all align,
To form a constellation unlike any other,
A constellation in that swirls and twists
To form a vast arrangement of stars
In the shape
Of a heart.
I muster up all the courage I have,
And with a leap faith,
I set sail out towards this grandeur constellation,
Knowing, hoping,
You’re there waiting…

now, let's talk abt my poem. the name of the ship, Nasce da Stelle del Ceillio Notturno, is itlian and translates into english to give "Born from the Stars of the Night Sky."
i came up with the phrase myself and got some help from a friend to translate it into italian. 
also, i based the heart shaped constellation on a recent work of art submitted on deviant art which can be viewed here ->

It is wonderful and written with a poets passion.
The imagery is beyond beautiful and while reading I was able to envision the sea and stars, smell the breeze off the Carribean sea's and get lost within the peaceful poetic wording.
