innocence of youth
fresh, exuberant;

knows this won't last

It's been a long time since I've read a poem of yours. I was looking at the list of most popular poems of all time and it reminded me of a poet I'd been overlooking for a while. This poem is short, but has everything in it. The gem of knowledge, the contrast between youth and experience. Nice write.

Bitter Sweet
Today's life does indeed posess the threat of beginnings that end, does it not? Short, bitter-sweet, to the point. Lets just hope that the in-between offers much!

sad, but usually true.
Best way to look at it though is something is learned with every relationship.

how sad. How ;ong will it last? Where will it go? I look back every five years and I miss those days. I think the innocence is always there in forms we con't realize until it's time to look back again...every day is prime of life...thought provoking Granny...peace
