Renata:

Nikolai wraps his arms around his best friend Renata, enbracing her in a freindly hug as she smiles and wraps her arms around his neck, she sees there is something wrong but dosent know exactly what yet. she gently caresses the back of his neck with her thumb to let him know shes listening to him, when he sets his head on her sholder and begins to cry. Renata then moved one hand into his short hair to help sooth him as he continues to silently cry, trying to reasure him that she is there and cares about him she begins to speek gently into his ear that whatever is bothering him she will help him get through it, he is not alone. as secretly she wishes she could tell him that she loved him and that it would make everything ok for him again.

Nikolai:

He had a rough night, a fight with mom and a couple pills brought him down into a hellish world, when he arived at the quiet coffee shop and saw Renata he knew he was going to break down and was thanking God that she was there, when they hugged Nikolai already felt ok like her hugs were the cure to some deep missing part in his soul. He had told Renata a wile ago that things were rough at home and he was begining to pop pills to ease the emotional and phisical strain it was taking on him. She didn't like that much by what he understood and she told him he really shouldnt be doing that, which showed him that she cared about his well being. Nikolai just wishes he had enough guts in him to tell her that he loved her and that being with her would make him the happiest man alive, that her hugs alone helped him get through the day. Nikolai needs her more than she knows and he may never get to act on his feelings because of fear.

Renata:

He is breaking down and she could tell because his eyes wern't as bright anymore, there seemed to be a part of him that had been lost, his soul caged inside himself and now all she saw in his eyes was depression and cofusion, Renata really wishes there was something else she could do to help Nikolai but she didn't know how to go about doing anything else, she was too scared. Renata needs Nikolai in her life, she wakes up each day because she knows she can help Nikolai as much as she posobly can and to receive one of his muscular hugs made her feel safe and welcome in someones life. She sometimes wonders about if he feels the same and wonders if they will ever be together.
