To speak is easy,
for fools do such
with nary a thought ~
their opinions
make up many a social commentary...
A simple word
causes mass hysteria,
celebrating to the song of ignorance.
Popular opinion
often times out-ways reason --
...but that doesn't make it correct.
Maestros use celebrity
to amplify their orchestrations,
knowing fans will follow blindly ~
dancing wherever the piper plays.
Outside the limelight,
wisdom waits ~
for it knows soon the proud will fall
...and it will offer a hand up
to those humble enough to accept it.
