Nature's Gift of Love

High upon this throne we lay
The ruins of old buildings beside us
Evergreens surround you and I
I don't care if I fall, for you'll be with me

Sun shines brightly down on us
Fears do not matter at all and never will
Your one hundred watt smile brings happiness
We will never fall...but grow closer together

Wind breezes by, a soft whisper in your ear
Those soft lips only a breath away from mine
This moment...forever will it be frozen in time
When daylight ends and night comes; another adventure

    I love this! Love is one of the hardest things for me to write about and I am jealous of those who can do it so well. You are one of those.

    I adore this poem and I am sure them person whom it is written about loves it too. love spills out of the words in this poem as you read them. That, My Dear, is the sign of a truely great love poem...of a truely great poet.
