I see myself falling
The moment replaying over and
Over again, while I await
The rescue that never came
Why didn't you pull me up
From the burning ice below?
Deceased fairy tears lay gray
On my parched cheeks and
Fragile hair
So thin as dust
The marrow of my bones
Is the first to begin rotting
Disintegrating from inside out
While I fight this immortality
I try to remember
The rainbows we once ran under
You and me
But memory has long faded
Replaced by my desparation
And the fear I didn't have
As I was cast into this ancient hell
Alone
Why didn't you pull me up
From the burning ice below?
