Pristine it stands on savage rocks,
Apologetic to phantom's crew Isidore.
A testament of it's fateful need to stop,
Ship wrecks along Cape Neddic's shores.
Stately it stands on Nubble Isle erect,
So vicious are it's sand bar shallows.
Sounding out warning to deflect,
All wayward ship's floundering struggles.
With beacon bright illuminating a night,
A stalwart savior to all sailing vessels.
And for my sea lovers briny eyes delight,
A picturesque tower of power nestled.

Very good poem
Pristine it stands on savage rocks
I love this descriptive contrast against the viciousness of nature. And then then inner rhymes of the last verse, very captivating
