Digging In

Furgus went to Walmart looking for a snow shovel.
In Minnesota this shouldn’t be a problem,
but it was August and they had spades and rakes,
but not one snow shovel.  Furgus couldn’t ask
for one either, that might raise questions.

He couldn’t admit his old one is deep
in a well with his ex-wife.

Please tell me what you think

    Dear Susan,

I have a small problem question. If Furgus left the shovel in the hole with his wife, how did he fill the hole in?
    Please forgive my asking.
    Applause and love, XXX Hugh.

It was a really really deep hole. Maybe it should be a well?

I love writing flash fiction. I may be going to Minnesota soon and it all came from there.
