small half smiling face
aglow, in the rippled window pane
I, with my green warm cup of morning
sip, and slurp, smilingly back
across the rain-rippled glass
in my fair trade coffee shop
you are watching my cup
my brownie, half finished now
can wait as we exchange vows
of friendly conversation, cup to cup
Author notes
coffee, rain, morning, adorable man watching me in the window pane. mmm.
