You
a plainsong torn from the lips
and scattered to the wind
And we left standing have that
Memory
Yet all at ending
an air of praise
thanksgiving for your
life

I'm sorry
I wish we would all do more thanksgiving for a life, while they are still alive, to make an air of praise a daily emotion or devotion. Very nice tribute.

NICE
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings. -
a kind rememberance
'a plain song torn from the lips and scattered to the wind'...this is Very good writing (in my opinion). if the rest leaves me wanting a bit, it's only because these first lines were so strong. this is very sweet and soft. surely your friend has heard it and is thanking you even now. so sorry for your loss!!
