where winds were quite excluded

Missing image

Wisteria woke me this morning
and the air was soft like a butterfly
with frail blue wings
carrying me in between the sigh of a June beginning.
And my pallid flesh
fell before the sweet and budding thorn ~
feeling the season of rusty leaves outlived.
Here where the sky moves beneath me...

  • You are able to make nature so deeply personal and affecting in these lines... and the softness and gentility is so appealing. Lovely write!
