Was this what was meant to be
That day you left and moved away
You promised I'd always be your number one love
Now your coming back with another one
You said you'd never leave my side
Yet since you told me I have just wanted to cry
When you told me you slept in his bed
My heart stopped so fast I thought I was dead
You have no idea how much you meant to me
You have no idea how much our relationship could be
Now you just a memory
You'll never be what we could have been
You'll soon be forgotten with the rest of them

I had a girl Friend who moved away but we always wanted to get back together and always visited each other and it felt like we were meant to be apparently not. Idk just a random Poem I wrote trying to express how I feel now. Not sure how good it is I write to help me hope you enjoy though.

just a couple grammatical notes:
2nd line in 2nd stanza should be you're
1st line in last stanza should you be you're instead?
