Love for Life

Missing image

I give life, you give life,

yet we can destroy each other.

I kill, you kill,

yet we should not kill each other.

I love my family, you love your family.

I'd kill for my family, you'd kill for your family.

I follow my nose, you follow your ???

The nose knows, not sure about you...

I am a protector, you are a protector.

We provide and protect at great lengths sometimes,

I am a predator, you are a predator.

I'd like to direct your attention back to "I kill, you kill" at this time;

I am intelligent, you are intelligent.

At this point I'd like to direct your attention back to "The nose knows" phrase.

Lets stay blessed and peaceful.

Let's commune together.

Let's address our needs

and realize we are not pure enemies.

Remember the old adage-

"Dog is mans best friend",

and recall your feelings while we are slain by man!

Love conquers, hate destroys,

ignorance can kill.

Let's not be ignorant -

Lets be blessed!

Signed-

The Wolf ~

We are very right in our own perspective. We are equally good and equally bad depending on our mutual co-relation.Time and place also do matter to decide how we become to each other. This is we to decide how we relate to each other. This is a very deep thoughtful poem on relation.Thanking you for entering this poem in my contest I wish you all the best.

Nice concept. Having it from the wolf's outlook made it intriguing. The lines:
"You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew"
from Pochantas come to mind. Thank you for your entry.
