Obsession’s hymn sang in yesterdays gone
and your voice lingers in hallways darkened.
Shadowed by naught but wild abandon,
there still lies passion within this lost soul.
Each ticking of the clock, blink of the eye
and beat of a heart lacking life’s blood flow
brings reality closer, taking you…
Where? I do not know, only that you’re leav…
Fingers still sting from memories of you.
Toes still tingle with the thought of your kiss.
Tears continue falling, how could they not?
I st… still tremble each breath that I take.
Is it not possible for you to see?
To see beauty within my spirit’s voice?
To see the longing my pulse now emits?
To see what you once did? Just one more time?

Ah, this is lovely; I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The only line I thought was a bit odd was, "Toes still tingle with the thought of your kiss."
Anyhow, thanks for entering! xx
