The light in you- vaguely reminiscent of Paramhansa Yogananda

Your light is mine
My light is thine
Our light will shine
In all we meet.

Your light reflects in your eyes
As mine in my own
Passed to you
As I glance

At you,
Across the room.

Distance doesn't matter
The light crosses boundaries

Countries

Earth to heavens.

I feel your light
Can you feel mine?

Author notes

As well as fulfilling this contest prompt, this poem also serves as a tribute to a dear friend of mine- Chris Thomas, of whom I have written in other works. Thank you very much for hosting this contest, Drifting Cloud.

Namaste to all who read this...namaskar to those who'd rather (less personal- to somebody you don't know personally.)

    Amen!

Loved this depiction of eyes, which are mirrors to our souls connecting with staring at one another. Clever write. Blessings.

Very pleasant to read and gets to the heart of the meaning of namaste. Good work!
