Hello again, dear freind.
I have found a momment two write.
I just got an Email to send,
and the internet works tonight.
No one died today,
not even got hurt.
The rain dried today,
turning mud into dirt.
I'm getting used to this place,
The smells, and the looks.
Iraq has more of a face,
than you read about in books.
I hope I can do what is right,
to help out in my world.
I am here, ready to fight,
and can't wait to see my little girl.
I will close with a quote,
I have found to be true,
I saw in a note:
"Better me than you."

Thanks for your entry; it really fit this contest. I especially like the part:
"I hope I can do what is right,
to help out in my world."
Wise words. More should follow these.
