Quest

Blue Dragons arise

terror fills the skys

as we go on the quest

looking for your chest

the golden flame within reach

what is it you can teach

look out there are rouges below

flame them and watch them go

to the cave deep within

this quest we will win.

The journey we will take

seeing those upon the stake

heavens sky's fill with us

our cause is just

come and join us in our plight

we shall take wing and flight

terror fills the darkened sky

can you see us completely try

golden flame in our sights

guarded by men in tights

down and down now we go

we shall rule and save the show.

the archaic feel of this gives it a voice of tales of yore. i like how this flows and it has a continuous beat. this is great. thanks for entering.

Ah! a mighty dragon of rhyme. A journey in souls flame, may you always burn bright. Joining the flight, just want to see once those men in tights. .. Enjoyed kudos

Nice imagery and rhyme! I like the way you make the story unfold. This poem makes me think of The Hobbit in a way, when Bilbo and the dwarves were sneaking into the Lonely Mountain. Well-written. I enjoyed it.
