You cheated, lied, betrayed
You ripped, bruised, and stabbed
Tears of blood I cried
Agonized by the piercing words
That took myself away
With a few seconds to go,
I feel you need to know
I forgive you, no thoughts but of the best
Of you shall be my last
My love for you will never fade
It hangs thick like fog
Shadowing the sun,
Blocking the light from my eyes
That should blind me from the pain
Yet it is twisted, and so concedes
To envelope the hallow of my broken heart.
Knife in hand, the end is near
Standing on a cliff,
Jumping from a plane,
Falling into darkness,
Drowning in heartless love
One more time to say
I love you always
Take one more breath
Take a gun to the head
Here the day has raised!
Unturned, my painful love is quieted
Along with the thud of my heart.
