I'm your neighbourhood hound dog

down dark and dismal alley's I dare to roam

looking for a cute cat

who loves to share my bone

some say I'm madder than the hatter

some they call me a spiv

I think I'm rather dapper

dangerously is how I like to live

I've heard it on the grape vine there's a new pussy to be had

a tigress in a cage, wanton, wild and untamed

who loves to use her claws

to liven up the game

Well, she can use her nails

claw me treat me rough

once she's had a taste of me

she'll never get enough

She'll purr for her feral dog

to satisfy her needs

she'll want her bit of rough

to take her deep and mean

Some say she's a man eater

a temptress there to maim

that once I'm in her den

I'll never get out again

Well, I'm a pussy chaser

there's nothing else I love to do

than eat out a kitty cat

in an alley or at the zoo

****

So come on you wuss's

bring your camera's shoot the show

watch how I bring this wild cat down

one mean dog and his bone.

    A wonderful piece of humour that takes in the image perfectly I do so love humour in poetry.Not surprised about your dogs habits ( i see you were from Derby.We all know the preference for folk in that neck of the woods) Sorry about that being from Nottingham i had to drop it in.

    Very well written, but methinks your doggy may have bitten off more that he can chew. And all for the love of a little pussy; or, in this case, a big one. Looks like the kitty-cat may have quite a "snapper" there, but evidently that's the way your pooch likes it. Oh well, at least the pussy will have a nice dinner after sex...
