Scream Run and Tell
One and two
Black and blue
Tell a grown up
They'll help you
Three and four
Stiff and sore
Get help now
Just say, "No more."
Five and six
You can fix
Wounds that come
From words or sticks
Seven eight
Now! Don't wait
Scream and run
'Fore it's too late
Nine and ten
Tell a friend
Never let them
Hurt again
Eleven twelve
Help yourself
We all know
SCREAM RUN and TELL
Author notes
It's a campaign I read somewhere, Scream, run and tell. Off the number 1 picture. Sitting in a corner letting it happen just gives permission for more. You have to do something if you're going to get help.

Nicely written, I believe one of the other poets that entered travels around putting out this message. I think it would be good for Hop-scotch as well.
Best of luck to you...Scott & Tory

Excellent!
I can hear children being taught this as a song in school or singing it while jumping rope. Very nice piece. I don't have to say nice rhyme or good flow, all of your stuff (at least what I have read so far) has been fabulous.....DeeDee

Jumping rope.
Is what I had in mind. Let it be heard by everyone, the message anyhow.
