Are They Listening?

Would they listen if I said
I want to die right here
Right now, just take me away?

Would they lend their ears
To hear me say I am going to
Have a baby very soon?

Would it matter to them if
I wanted to find a cure for
Those who are depressed?

Would I get their attention
If I started talking about
The abusive relationship?

Would the words sink in to
Their brains if I hadn't have
Written it down on this paper?

I took this in a little different way. I looked at it as if I said some things out loud, would anyone listen to me? Would they care? Would it matter? Thus the reason I write is to get my point across and that way I don't have to worry about saying them out loud.
