wow, a lovely poem inspired by this beautiful acoustic song by Judith which I'd never heard before. I love the idea of becoming an elefant for someone and being able to carry them and find it all the more touching to think about the way German nativity scenes always depict one of the wise men riding an elephant, which is not something I ever encountered, growing up in America.
Sorry I missed this contest, I just realized when I went back to my bookmarks this morning, but I am so grateful to Zack for providing the link to these videos with English subtitles, many of which I know but had never had a clue what they were really about before. I think Denkmal is my favorite or Nur Ein Wort.
