Been through this myself in my life,
many a front window in my house
I have stared out of and cried.
Unsure what to do
yet the instant I saw my reflection there,
I saw myself and in doing so became so aware.
"Change comes and goes
but the real me is forever,
the girl within that knows
what she truly wants in life.
No one can take that feeling away never,
for within I saw the eternal light."
Search within and know
you are woman you are strong ,
know that no man can pull you down
for it is his loss all along.
The love you hold and have held
for him he was blind indeed,
and in time as you move forward
lost he shall become with need.
"Your faith is still there honey
no man can take that away,
and know from the strength of all us women
we shall fly again one day.
Turn this negative feeling
into power and you shall see,
that real you is there waiting
let her help you fly indeed.
Waste not a moment
for life goes on,
know that you honey
have done no wrong.
Get yourself together
and stand tall and proud,
for you my dear can find someone
who truly knows what love is now."

Bless your heart I know just how you feel . Know that if you just slip away without a word sometimes this wakens their way of life and some it does bring them back but in the same way they often don't learn . I myself had my husband come back and he went through a years probation before trust was regained but today love couldn't be better .

How true your words! I know what it is like to be in this position, (my ex) and it is hard. Takes a lot to get over it sometimes, but it does happen. You did great in this one! I love it!

Great write! I love the entire write but my favorite parts were:
Stanza 2:
"Change comes and goes
