If i showed the world today,
The shadows of my soul,
Would that take the pain away,
Make my spirit whole?
By keeping all my fear inside,
I allow myself to live,
Hiding all the times i've cried,
Lets me sacrifice and give.
I'm told to talk about my pain,
So i don't bury it within,
Yet when i talk it hurts again,
Causes me to tear and break my skin.
Answer me so it's not grey,
So this pain doesn's take it's toll,
Would It take my pain away,
And make my spirit whole?

I wrote this poem about how i have been feeling lately.
I have alot of issues i need to deal with and im told that if i talk about them and cry and tell people that it will make things easier. What i want to know is will it really take all that pain away if i talk about it?
