My Path
I've tried to stride the paths that others walked along before.
Blindly following along, not knowing what's in store
And then I realised that's true no matter which we choose.
The unmarked path can bring us good. The well marked make us lose.
This preacher falls before our eyes. This rock star wows us all.
Each path is right. Each path is wrong. Just follow your hearts call.
I walk no path except my own. I choose no fool's lead.
I crash right through and make a path that's truly mine indeed.

Telling you this is a good write...in rhyme, flow, and content...Truly no one else should tell us what path to walk, we all have our own....and may we find it...

Amen
And stay on it too.

Hi Larry,
I really enjoyed this, it touched home with me. I have never followed the path that others tried to choose for me or tried to hand down to me. I have always chosen my own path. A wonderful write indeed....DeeDee

Honestly, I think that most people are
trying to follow paths that don't really exist and that is a lot of of what is wrong with the world right now. If folks would just relax and be themselves we'd be much happier.

Thank you!
I see you're into The Wizard of Oz. I read the real story when I was young and didn't find it again until 30 years later. Many people told me I was imagining it, there never was a book where the slippers were silver and the China People flourished etc, but there it is. -

LOL., Glenda is my real name though I do love the movie.

There's no place like home.
There's no place like home.
There's no place like home. -
