Duct Taped Ted E Bare








She used to take me everywhere!
She used to talk to me as well.
Asking me questions like what to wear
and the meaning of words she couldn't spell.

I used to be her pride and joy!
She displayed me for all eyes to see.
I was more than a Ted E Bare toy
I was anyone she wanted me to be.

Now she has a cellphone device
and a computer to get online.
Now there's no need for my advice
or an opinion as I sit like a mime.

Duct tape wrapped around my head
to make sure my mouth is closed good.
Maybe I need to change my name to Fred
and pretend I'm made of stone or wood.

Wait, I know what I can do now!
Throw her cellphone away for trash
and crash her computer somehow.
Perhaps I'm thinking quite to rash!

Nope, for I know she will remove the duct tape
and again want my opinion like the times before.
I just hope for my sake that it's not to late
as my plan is to make her want Ted E Bare more.
