Reality Check

A song for mama brought me to tears
As I prayed dear God please don't
Let me fail my new baby on the way

I'm on bended knees as my deja vu
Reminds me of all those nice things
You did for me during those dreams

But now I'm singing a new tune, a
Tune of please don't go and leave me
By myself during the cruel summer

We were so in love yet it seems like
That was someday, a long time ago
When you were still there as my hero

Honey you have no clue what you did

Or of the fact you still need me, me to

Be there for you when you breakdown

And through the waters reflections I know

That you can't get over her without getting

Over yourself first, so I am going to be here

Here without you in my life, and try not to

Melt away in pieces of you, because I don't

Wanna cry anymore tears from my fragile heart

words in bold and italics are titles from my playlist.. I had to use 20 out of the 102 that I had listed. This is a very real poem to me because it's my way of saying I"m not going to sit here and let you rule my life anymore. I'm going to get over you. My fragile heart doesn't deserve to cry anymore over you. Because you need to get over yourself and realize you need me.
