Pixies, fairies,
leprechauns
disappear
at break of dawn.
When the moon
shines bright above,
wee folk dance,
entranced by love.
Enchanting place,
this fairyland...
seen only if
you understand
that little people
are 'real', too...
here to share
their 'gifts' with you.
Magic beings,
ah, what a sight...
making music,
shining bright!
Dazzled eyes
gaze with delight
at
little creatures
of the night!

Dear Maur,
The creation of this poem for Pixiestix is just another indication of the sweetness of your nature that I have come to love so much over the years. I must however, be honest and write in return:
"The only time I get to watch the little folk at play
is after my fourth glass of Scotch (when Edna is away)
'coz when the Queen is here she lets me have but two or three
which isn't quite enough to make the faeries come to me."
