The Infinately Sunken Dream

He gazes upon the lights,
That flash gallantly like pawns,
Sacrificing themselves for their queen.
A dull moment never dawns,
As he stays there through the night.
He dreams of a brilliant life,
Of acting amongst the stage,
In front of the hungry crowds,
Like apes within a cage.
He contemplates the strife.
He is a boy of lower class,
He knows that he is poor,
But he dreams to be a star,
Bigger then the Shakesperians and more,
The feeling doesn't ever pass.
He would give all he had,
All of his mind body and soul,
To be in a musical or even a film.
Though the stress would take it's toll,
In his heart he would be glad.
He embraces the curtains soft,
Like a young infants touch.
Tears fill his sullen eyes,
The emotion is too much,
His head begins to waft.
He stands in stage right alone,
A smile acrossed his face.
As he recites the lines from Hamlet,
Every line he does embrace,
His words cannot be cloned.
Though the odds are slim,
And not looking very good,
He leaves his ragged life behind,
For he is now understood,
The life beyond the dim.
