Words on skin
Instead of parchment
Have the same meaning
If not a little more
Personal
Love that knows no bounds
That does not mock or
Is easily angered
So many virtues
Yet the greatest is Love
A love so deep that it is now
Skin deep
The greatest words of love
Created in skin art
A beauty to behold
A treasure for always
A blessing to the owner
And any who may see it
This is truly blessed skin
To have the Word of God
Placed upon it; not just
Words on skin, but
God’s Word

    artistic desgin, a blank canvas for brush strokes of faith, of anything desired really, it's crazy, everytime i read a poem i think oh where's that poem of mine, lol they are swimming in folders.

      Thanks for such a nice comment Lactar. I agree, God's Word is very important on many subjects but especially on Love. Did you check out the link in my Authors Notes to see the pic that inspired the write? IF not you should! That's where I got the inspiration for this piece.     I really like this. I'm not into religion, but I do believe in that verse and I have thought about getting a tattoo similar to that. I like what you did with this prompt. Most people frown upon such tattoos. I'm glad you didn't take this in a negative way. I also like how you described it. Skin deep with God's Word. I think this is an amazing write.
