The seduction of evil is beautifully spun,
the trap has been set, the game has begun.
Be wary of things too good to be true,
the web of destruction can hold you like glue.
The strategy they seem to consistently use;
continually state their contention as news.
Come up with a thought, that’s completely absurd,
then treat it as though it’s a fact that’s occurred.
Persistently repeat it, as if it were known,
and a few start believing the seeds that were sown.
A few becomes some, then some leads to more.
Soon many will claim to have “heard-that” before.
There’s no need for evidence supporting their claim,
they’ll quote a “quote” expert, recognizable name.
In time then, the thought, with no basis in fact,
will be “commonly-known”, with roots deep intact.
A deceptive illusion, accepted by those,
unaware, uninformed how their strategy goes.
