Oh, ye mighty KKK of white supremacy,
I AM watched thine hundred and thirty plus years
of leading by a rape-pillage-kill diplomacy;
crimes upon my people thou hast left in tears.
How ye have mightily stirred Mine anger against thee:
each of thine acts shall reap all manner of fears.
Thou art twice dead— all abominations against Me.
How dare ye judge a man, let alone by his colour;
thus, God judges thee twice dead for thine pallor:
for Mine Son Christ was a perfect man of black colour.
Worse, thou hood and robe thine children to teach them hatred;
like a dog, ye turn to eat thine own vomit,
directing Mine children to do the same 'til sated:
they shall reap as ye, in a burning comet.
Ye render thine own twice dead for sins unabated,
each shall feel heat of a fiery plummet.
Thine atrocious traditions shall come up truncated.
How dare ye judge a man, let alone by his colour;
thus, God judges thee twice dead for thine pallor:
for Mine Son Christ was a perfect man of black colour.
+ + + + +
So saith the Lord, "All men are of one blood.
How dare ye defy My Word and defile My Namesake."
Author notes
I happened to watch, on the History channel, "The History of the KKK." Many things I recalled in the news at various times as I was growing up and as a young woman, but nothing compared to the 130+ years of their crimes. My heart is sickened anew and the Spirit led this poem to reflect God's anguish and anger with KKK.

Do you wish to be judged by your pallor? Then don't judge another by his colour!

A very powerful stance against the despicable hate group. Founding an organization on hate may seem ridiculous, had it not been so intensely inhumane. Disturbing is also the fact that this groupd gained so much support. The flourishing of such groups strongly hints at the fact that there is something terribly wrong with large parts of society. It includes the legislators who have (perhaps intentionally) been unsuccessful in eradicating this groups in spite of the overwhelming evidence of crimes it committed. Thank you for creating and sharing this thought provoking poem. Take care.

Thank you so much, my darling Chris, for the encouragement and facts about society; the majority are grossly misled. How I wish people would get their acts together and repent, for Jesus has His hand on the doorknob.
Much luv & hugs, SisBon

I wrote a poem entitled..."It's Not OK"...how many crimes against each other we perpetrate to our own demise, for indeed we all are one creation...but God rights all wrongs...another awesome write, Sister, God is blessing thee profusely, to lay it all out there, and I perceive that you do not back down from a challenge, this is good.

The Bible has a vivid description of Christ, Jesus. In many Catholic churches there are renditions of the Black Madonna & Child. How could Jesus and his mother have found shelter and hiding in Egypt had he not been darker of skin? In biblical days there was no such thing as race, as well it should not be today. Would it be such an atrocity for Christ to have been dark-skinned. Given the region of the world he was from the possibility is extremely strong. Given the fact that in the Diaspora there are more dark-skinned people than light is also reason to think that Christ was "burnt bronze and had hair like lambs wool"
Rev. 1:14,15 and Daniel 7:9; 10:6
When the bible speaks of US being made in the image of God, I am not convinced that it means physical appearance. I think it means the characteristics of God. It means that we are all capable of loving one another as He loves us. Oh My...I could get into this STAND with both feet. LOL
Thank you ever so much for this addition to the contest. I wish you well.
Much Love & Respect ♥

Thank you, darling Sis, for the back up of facts. Seems some had rather argue than go find the scriptures, as I learned the first time I was at A/P; a time when I provided all the scripture references.

Luv ya! SisBon

Just so you know.
You are misreading what I wrote, Christ only appeared as flesh before his transfiguration. Tell me if a black man sees Christ as black, Chinese see him as yellow and the arab nations see him as olive complexion which is acceptable to them. White people think he is white but there is no accurate description of Christ. You either believe he is who he is or you don't. No one likes bigotry but it exists in all nations and all colors, that does not make it right. -
Some facts.
Origionally the Klan was initiated to capture those who beat their wives and children. But insurgents whose only iniation was their hate joined the Klan and made it what it became. I do not believe in judging anyone by their color, however so often this is done. Christ my dear appears to those in the form that they can accept and believe in. We really do not know what his color is but we do know we are created in his image. Why do we try to destroy that image?

My, what a subtle way of calling me a liar. If there were not a complete description of Jesus in the Bible, I would not have made the statement. Perhaps, you are unfamiliar with the scriptures and should seek them out.

Good Grief Bonita - Excellent
You were most certainly inspired to write this poem from above - I read all of Chris's poems and comment - when I read your comment to his latest poem - I just had to come to your site - and am glad I did - Chris reads all of my poems - I think the 3 of us are on the same page - BTW all men are the same color,just different levels of the same pigment. Those Evil KKK scum are burning in Hell (except they repent) - I watched with, tears on, CNN a former KKK man repent - the poem flows and rhymes beautifully and the content so true - what more can I say - Bless God Bonnie - Joe

If they only knew how ridiculous they look in those white sheets with a dunce hat on! I haven't heard anything on the KKK in years but know that they still exists through so called skin heads and the like. To judge one on their color is simply a sham and a reflection of those who may feel inferior. You got to be uncomfortable in your own skin to blame someone else for being comfortable in their own. I am glad that I taught my children to love all regardless of race. It really is pathetic.
So much information here, I hope it gets a lot of reads. So much to ponder. The reader will be forced to take a peek inside of their own hearts.
Love,
Frogz~
