Reno is your only redeeming song. Trash all the rest and pretend Reno is the only song you produced. A great deal of the panning wasn't necessary, but didn't take much away from it...it was a bit distracting and should have been instrumentational....and not vocal.
Panning is only good in Socrates type dialogue...
or (at a lower volume) a straw man to break down...
    or an ironic musical interlude.
Overall though...this is the one piece which I could listen to twice...and be interested in...
    Good luck.

Reno was intersting...like the B52's...with a little Pixies...Sublime...and Stooges...but not enough of the last 2. More pop punk...The voice work and ambience were great here though. On a different level than the other tunes...I felt some inspiration...if all the tunes were like this one...shit...did you get a Moog?
Anyhow...the final effect is something you should run with...
    It works.
I can't tell you what element of it makes it so...but it all sounds a little experimental...
So far...Reno is by far the best tune...the transcendential one 4 sure.

The production was far superior to anything I have the motivation to produce. Unfortunately all of the back beat, bass, and even the didge sounded like studio musicians sticking to the prescribed method...but who had no emotional investment....and never ever once injected their own signature into any of the pieces.
The vocals were over processed or under processed.
I liked the eclectic styles, but again, they all felt prescribed. Almost as if they were chosen from a very expensive but limited collection of preexisting riffs and edgy power chords
It does not smack of creativity...but of product.
I appreciate what you must have went through to create this. I can tell a great deal of work went into it.
If it were rougher and more raw the message may have been expressed better.
Too many cooks and too much tech.
I'm certain this isn't going anywhere. Not that it's bad. It's good. But it's not special...it sounds like too many other things and thus isn't unique.
You've got to get more raw and maintain this recording quality.
Put the same lyrics and vocals to a whole different kind of music production...you may get a different result. I couldn't say try harder, you put a great deal into this...I could say though...make the music first, then produce it....
    And try to replicate it.
These tunes were made for public consumption,
catering to the masses in an uninteresting fashion,
    with no hook.
Catering to the masters only in the most technical fashion.
Missed the target...and missed the fringe...which would have been more interesting to hit.

This will not sell well in the south. Doubly evil, they bring the pseudo anti-social asses taking things too literally, and their opposition...neither on the side of rational thought, and both bringing to the table little or no emotional intelligence.
I am aware I don't really know what I'm talking about. I know this is a mini-rant. They though...they will make it into a cause. Not because they are stupid. Not because they are insane. But because they are ignorant...and certain...
You couldn't let them in on this little secret even if you were inclined to do so. Sad really...
